Overview

You can be picked up at your Sedona hotel or meet your guide at the designated point along State Route 89A. Hop in the Jeep and hang on as your guide expertly navigates rough dirt roads that take you deep into the wilderness.

Connect to a former stagecoach route that was the only road between Sedona and Flagstaff until 1914. Climb steadily up the canyons to reach stunning sites such as Snoopy Rock, Teacup Rock, Coffee Pot Rock, and Damnfino Canyon. Admire views of stunning Oak Creek Canyon as you wind your way to the Mogollon Rim, which marks the southern edge of the Colorado Plateau in Arizona. Upgrade your tour to include an offroad jaunt along the scenic volcanic rim trail.

As you turn back towards town, marvel at views of Carousel Rock and the majestic valley below.

My wife and i very much enjoyed our time with Pearl as we traversed the red rocks in a four wheel drive vehicle. Our driver Pearl was extremely knowledgeable about the area and the history of how the spectacular red rocks came to be. Even though it was very hot, we still were mesmerized by the terrain and Pearl as she spoke about the area. I would highly recommend this tour!

Our tour guide, Tumbleweed Tom, was just awesome. He was friendly, funny, courteous and Rosie and I felt like we knew him forever. It was like we were touring with our best friend. Rosie and I are in our late 60's and he was very accommodating. He took extra time and was very cautious. Tom made the whole tour worthwhile. the scenery was beautiful and we learned a lot from Tom's experiences.

We were a three generation group of four and had a blast! Gorgeous scenery helped along by the fact it had recently rained so some small waterfall areas were active. The ride is a bit bumpy but not too bad - had concerns with my mother who is in her upper 70's. she loved it! I also had concerns booking with a different 'color' keep tour company but Red Rock tours was every bit as professional, friendly, and exciting as Pink jeep. Our driver Pearl was perfect! Information, stories and tales, geography tidbits, she had it all! Great Job!

Pete Rooney is the BEST! We were picked up promptly on that drizzly day! We had my friend's 82 yr mom with us. She loved the ride, the tour talk and Pete! Pete was very informative and entertaining. We loved him. He took pictures of us, told us some very interesting facts of the trail, pointed things out we might have missed. We led the way up the mountain. We were looking for something fairly mellow because of Mom.....It may not have been off road but it got us near the edge and had us looking around in wonder! We had an awesome time!
