  • The tour reservations have strict timing. To join the tour, you are required to be at the meeting point for check-in at least 15 minutes prior to your tour departure time.
  • If you arrive late for the meeting time, it will not be possible to join the group or reschedule, unless you pay for the activity again. As per "No Show" rules you will not be entitled to a refund.
  • Knees & Shoulders MUST be covered for both men & women to enter the Sistine Chapel!
  • Please note that on the day of your visit certain areas of the monument/attraction can be closed due to either religious events and national holidays.
  • Stroller accessible
  • Near public transportation
  • Not recommended for travelers with back problems
  • No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
  • Please be advised capacity regulations and security may delay the tour departure This could also influence the smooth running of the tour especially on national holidays and events.
  • Cancellations, changes or issues due to weather, security and events held by the monument are beyond our control and are directly decided by their administration team. These issues will be reviewed by us and dealt with on an individual basis but are the responsibility of the monument.
  • All visitors must pass through the monument/attraction security check please allow at least 20 minutes to clear security.
  • The exact timings and reservations can vary, dependant on the monument/attraction’s administration offices availabilities and decisions on the booking day and can be subject to last minute changes. Departure time can differ up to 20 minutes from your selected time.
  • Due to uneven surfaces, this tour is not recommended for those with walking disabilities or using a wheelchair.
  • Please be aware that large bags/backpacks/suitcases are not permitted in the monument/ attraction. Only very small bags are allowed. Please do not bring these items with you on the day of your tour as there are no cloakrooms at the monument.
  • Students booking a reduced ticket must have a photo ID, you must bring a photo ID to be allowed into the monument.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 30 travelers

So, the tour was huge. There were 60+ people in our group. While they split us up with 3 guides, people kept getting lost and overcrowding made this a logistical nightmare. We waited quite a awhile for tickets, then again for our headsets. So, I’m not sure what line we actually got to skip. The headset was quiet and didn’t work well. And our tour guide, while kind, spent quite a bit of time asking about us, then way too much time quizzing us on religious history in the Vatican museum. We almost missed the Sisteen chapel and the pope’s stair case because of the time wasted in the museum and people constantly getting lost. She wasn’t willing to move on without people as she told us she would be charged 50 euro per missing headset. I felt it deteriorated from my experience. She also kept standing us in court yards with no shade in 95 degree weather. Finally I just left and did the basilica on my own. I was also under the impression that this would be a 2 hour tour, but it turned into 3 and I was late for other activities.

Visiting the Vatican is an exercise in patience but since it's practically required during a visit to Rome, I recommend doing it with a tour. The tour office was easy to find and conveniently located a few steps from a cafe. Our guide Deborah was so knowledgeable and interesting. I wish we could have taken her everywhere with us. We never had to wait in line and that really saved our day. Recommend.

104° heat didn’t slow us down!

My husband and I have done the Vatican tour a couple of times before and we’re excited to introduce the experience to new family we were traveling with. The past few days in Rome have been between 98-104°, so we were worried the heat would be too difficult on us. But our guide Tajana made the experience very easy and accommodating. She was a wonderful guide and answered all of our groups questions with ease. We would all highly recommend her.

Had an amazing time on this tour! Tia was an incredible guide, very knowledgeable and personable. Visiting the Vatican is a very chaotic experience with some of the densest crowded, but our guide did an amazing job of keeping us together and moving us through the space. One thing to note, there is SO much to see in the Vatican this is truly impressive. The tour moves quickly so if you are interested in stopping and spending time in the museum, this might not be for you but if 3 hours is your max and you want to see as much as possible, this is an excellent tour!

Great tour guide Deborah. Fantastic knowledge of the Vatican museum and Cysteine Chapel. It was also admirable how she went out of her way to get help us as well, especially to get to the Basilica at the end of the tour quickly. Great narration from Deborah, our guide. Really informative and added real context to the guided tour. Sistene Chapel was stunning and worth the trip alone. The museum’s were jam packed with so many tours, which does affect the experience, but you defo need a guide to point out key points of interest … really recommended though!

The tour wouldn’t help out my young adult daughter who was lost and couldn’t find the locale .. ended up a few minutes late. They wouldn’t put her on the next tour or let her catch up or even give her a discount to rebook.. 130 for nothing. Not a nice policy .

I visited the Vatican many years ago and remembered there were super long lines, people everywhere. This time I came with my family and decided to try doing a tour and It made a huge difference. Our tour guide Christina gave so much interesting information before entering the Sistine chapel and in other areas so it made such a difference to know what we were looking at and understanding the story behind paintings sculptures etc. Christina was excellent! We did the English speaking tour and I highly recommend her.
