Departure Time

8:45 AM
Your sailing cruise experience starts when you're picked up from your hotel by complimentary transportation to reach the embarkation point. One of your cruise representatives greets you and gives you an overview of the cruise itinerary. A short ride follows from the small dock in order to embark the sailing yacht anchored out in Agios Ioannis bay.

Meet your cruise representative and friendly crew, and get a safety briefing before climbing aboard the yacht. If you like, help the skipper raise and trim the sails and get a lesson in steering as you make your way out into the bright blue Aegean, or you can simply soak up the sun on deck.

Drop anchor in an unspoiled bay at the island of Rhenia for a swim and snorkel break off a golden sand beach. When you've had your fill of the water, enjoy a delicious light lunch right on board featuring Italian pasta with Greek Salad, fresh local fruits, and a selection of complimentary house wine and soft drinks.

Then, choose from two different options to create your own ideal afternoon. Go ashore at Delos, the birthplace of the Apollo according to Greek mythology, for a licensed guided tour of the UNESCO-listed ruins of the ancient Greek trading and pilgrimage city (entrance fee not included). Explore the remnants of temples and marketplaces, see sacred artifacts in the museum, and hike up Mt. Kythnos for spectacular views of the island and surrounding sea. Or, take inspiration from Poseidon with another swimming stop at a beautiful Rhenia beach.

With either choice, climb back aboard the yacht in the late afternoon and start the return voyage to Mykonos, where the full-day tour concludes.

Your crew helps you disembark by a short tender ride to the small dock in front of the Church of Agios Ioannis where your complimentary transportation is waiting for you. Say goodbye—in Greek style—with a farewell drink toast.

Mixed feelings
Ekaterina_K
, Jul 2021
I have very mixed feelings about this boat trip. Overall it was a nice experience and the crew is absolutely fantastic! They make you feel super welcome, cater for all of your needs, are very kind and friendly! They're definitely the best part of the tour. And the food; the lunch was absolutely delicious! On the downside, it's not the best option for those wanting to swim as the sea is quite wavy due to the famous Myconian winds and the current is quite strong. The tour to the Delos itself was rather disappointing. I find that there was too much information to absorb in the heat and burning sun and after few hours on the boat. I would have preferred to have less time with the guide and more time to explore the island peacefully. Moreover, we were divided into two groups because of the covid regulations. Our guide said that we only had 5min of free time, while the guide of other group gave them 30min. That's why our group got back to the ship without the opportunity to explore the island and we just waited on the ship for the other half to return. I enjoyed the experience, and really the crew and the tour itself are good, but I wouldn't do it if I had to choose it again just because it wasn't exactly what I was looking for. I really wanted to swim so I should have gone to the beach hopping tour. However, if you are interested in archeology and want to see crystal turquoise water of the Rhenia island with a super friendly crew, you wouldn't be disappointed :)

Fun and adventurous

I really enjoyed this tour. It was very windy the day of the tour so we had quite the boat trip. Make sure to bring a change of clothes because you will definitely get wet on this trip. We relaxed on the boat near Rheina while some swam in the water. I do with the boat was a little bigger so that we could spread out more. The two tour operators were great. Operating a sail boat in choppy water is hard work. The food was good but I would have preferred meat be included in the lunch. The Delos tour was very interesting and informative. Overall a good experience and recommended it.

Great tour with a lovely crew. We sailed over to Rehnia for a swim and lunch, then onto Delos to see the ancient ruins. Boat was lovely we had the sail mast up with a great wind. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing time. The crew was very friendly and fun. We felt that we had adequate time at both islands. The swim next to Rhenia was unforgettable. We got there before other boats and had the entire beach just for ourselves. I would highly recommend this excursion.

It was cancelled

The trip was canceled by the organizers and I am still waiting to be reimbursed. I received an email the night before stating that there were not enough participants. So never went sailing with them, unfortunately. However I am yet to be reimbursed.

Hello! Thank you for the first review of the season which is a great restart for us especially during when the whole travel community is trying to deal with a still unforeseen and difficult situation due to Covid and the premature opening of tourism! Thank you for your understanding! Please allow me to explain that during the booking procedure your funds are paid directly to Viator and after the service is rendered we, as service provider, are paid. Once we cancel the cruise, checking first with our guests for any alternative option, we immediately instruct Viator for our guests to be refunded and Viator after that refunds the guests. So, if you do not have still received your funds back to your card you should refer to Viator and not writing a bad review for a service never provided. However, in order for us to help you, we would need to know your booking number as we cannot see any signature to your review. We are kindly inviting you to remove this review and to contact Viator directly to sort it out. Thank you again and we hope to have the chance to welcoming you on board with us in the future! Kindest regards, Alessia

A fantastic day in Rheina and Delos
Bhav

A truly awesome experience and well worth €115. We ended up 13 people on the smaller 51ft boat, but there was ample space still. All the staff involved were excellent. The light lunch was simple but still delicious, and just what we needed after a swim at Rhenia. The wine was indeed free flowing and complimentary, although only really possible to consume whilst the boat is stationary at Rhenia - this was completely fine for our group. The guided tour of Delos led by a trained archaeologist was also fantastic. Much better than doing it solo. For the final sail back to port prepare yourself for a bit of a roller-coaster. If you enjoy the thrill, and want to get soaked then sit at the front. This was a lot of fun and an awesome way to experience the power of the sea. If you'd prefer to stay mostly dry then stick to the rear.

Great Trip and great crew

My wife and I booked this late season trip and it went great. We got lucky the water was amazing and pretty. The food was great and the crew was fantastic. The only thing that could be improved was the time on Delos. It needed to be longer and not as rushed as it was. Overall a great value and I recommend this to anybody.

Excellent cruise
sumeetsharad
, Oct 2019
Dmitry and Mike were very professional and made the cruise very comfortable and entertaining for everyone. It is a little adventurous since you are on a yacht (tilting and bumpiness). We did have a clear day and gentle water so I can see how it could be worse in worse weather. Pro tips: bring sunscreen and a light waterproof jacket. If you think you’ll be sick then be mentally prepared
