Why Travelers Choose This Tour

This flexible West Rim coach tour offers optional activities to enhance your experience.
This sightseeing tour to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon begins with a hotel pickup in Las Vegas. Hop aboard a comfortable, air-conditioned motor coach equipped with restrooms, reclining seats, video monitors and large windows. Then make the trek east, passing through Joshua Tree forests and the Mojave Desert, and past the famous Hoover Dam and beautiful Lake Mead to the Grand Canyon.

Upon arrival at the Grand Canyon, enjoy hours of self-guided exploring at the West Rim. Hike to the Eagle Point and Guano Point overlooks to take in the amazing views. Visit the Hualapai Ranch for a wild west show and enjoy a delicious hot lunch available from a variety of different outlets (included in tour price). There are many options and a variety of exciting possibilities.

There are also two upgrades to consider during this time frame. First, consider adding a thrilling walk on the Grand Canyon Skywalk, a glass walkway nearly 4,000 feet above the floor of the canyon. Secondly, there's a stunning helicopter/boat ride. Lift off high above the canyon in a helicopter, then swoop down between its walls and land on the canyon floor. Walk around, get an up-close look at the many layers of the interior of the canyon and gain an even greater appreciation of the immensity of this natural wonder. Additionally, enjoy a pontoon boat ride along the Colorado River, looking up at the canyon’s many beautiful colors and stunning rock formations.

These are tough times

These are tough times. The choice to use smaller coaches instead of larger busses unfortunately does not allow for social distancing, and while masks are deemed a must, who is enforcing this when the tour guide is driving? Record heat also meant the AC on the coach was useless and temperatures on the return trip to Vegas were 90+ degrees inside the bus. More thought needs to be put into how to operate this tour safely and comfortably.

Our driver Miss Irene was the best. She was funny very knowledgeable about her tour with lots of information she even did slow down on the Hoover Dam for all of us to take pictures since the Hoover dam is closed with the virus . Couldn’t be happier with this trip

Danny Ho is the best tour guide!

Excellent experience. Online booking from home was simple and efficient. Had to edit twice and updates were immediately sent through to my email. Once in Vegas, meeting point was arranged and Danny Ho, our driver, was there on time and very cheerful! He gave a great guided tour through the Mojave Desert and the tribal reservation and we learned lots of facts. Everyone wore masks and he stopped to give us a bathroom break. Once at the canyon, the process of checking in and getting tickets was smooth and easy. Danny gave us a run down of our itinerary and we knew exactly where to go and what time to be back. Lunch was provided, and was delicious! The experience was amazing, and well worth the money!

Nothing, terrible experience

Avoid this trip! We chose upgraded package which should have included a helicopter tour and a cruise. However both trips were canceled. We paid 784 dollars for 2 adults and only $422 was refunded. This trip was a trap - by the time you arrived at the west rim of Grand Canyon, the tour guide would tell you that the helicopter trips had to be canceled due to weather conditions and they wouldn’t give a full refund for what we missed!

It was great!!! Our driver/guide was Danny Ho. We learned so much today. Everything the tour describes on Viator is correct (except the bathroom on the bus), which is cool because we had our 1/2 way stop for restroom and snacks. The motor coach was comfortable and clean. The tour guide sanitized the hand rails prior to leaving every time (COVID-19). We really enjoyed this day trip!! We were back in Vegas at 5PM!!!! I will continue to use Viator and THANKS GRAYLINE for the different lines of communication and a awesome experience!!

The pick up and drop were on time . They gave great advice on what to spend time on and what not to spend your time on. If you can the helicopter ride was a great experience to add to the trip the skywalk was nice but helicopter better made my whole trip. if you can swing land down in the Canyon what an amazing thing to experience so well worth it. Had a awesome time well worth it.

The only thing bad was the wait for a shuttle at the Canyon. I felt our time was cut short. The driver was very good. Worth the money. The skywalk was amazing
