This Grand Canyon West Rim tour experience begins with a Las Vegas hotel pickup, followed by a quick trip to Henderson Executive Airport just south of the city. 

After boarding the aircraft, the scenic flight passes over sites like Hoover Dam, a modern marvel of engineering; the aqua waters and sandstone shorelines of Lake Mead; Fortification Hill, an extinct volcano before soaring along the winding path of the mighty Colorado River and into the incredible landscape of the Grand Canyon, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.

Upon landing, take a shuttle to Eagle Point, home of the Grand Canyon Skywalk, a glass walkway nearly 4,000 feet above the floor of the canyon. Upgrade for a ticket to experience the breathtaking view from this unique vantage point.

Then visit Guano Point to see the Grand Canyon up close from the top of an old Guano Mine. Hike the side trail to the mine or go up and over the rocky hill to see an incredible view from what feels like the top of the world.

As an added option, take a helicopter flight below the rim of the Grand Canyon to an exclusive landing spot. While hovering high above, descend down between the canyon’s walls and land on a bluff above the Colorado River. Be sure to bring a camera for a one-of-a-kind photo opportunity.

The trip concludes with a return flight and hotel drop-off in Las Vegas.

Well organised with chatty knowledgeable crew. Fabulous trip, worth every penny. We were collected from our hotel on time in a minibus and the driver kept us entertained while he collected everyone .The small aircraft trip was delightful. The best part was obviously the helicopter ride through the grand canyon and landing alongside the river. Amazing experience!

This trip was definitely better than taking a 4-5 hour bus trip! Although more expensive, it was well worth the extra bucks. I chose the "full meal deal". Plane ride from LV to the West Rim - only half an hour - great scenery. Touring the lookouts - truly an amazing experience. Skywalk - I would not recommend paying for this. The view you get is the same as from the lookout. Personally, there wasn't even much of a "fear factor" looking down. Save your money. The helicopter ride to the bottom of the canyon was the best part of the trip. The summer flowers were starting to bloom and the view looking up was awesome - in the true sense of the word. The only reason I gave this trip a 4 was because I thought the Skywalk was a waste of money - but in terms of Viator's management of the trip - I would rank them a 5. Great trip,

Was a bit disappointed that we booked these tickets and thought the helicopter was included and it wasn’t we had to pay an extra 300$ you couldn’t even take any photos yourself on the skywalk. Lots of hidden extras not happy about.

Agent scammed me on a recorded line and even though it was recorded they would not make good on the specifics promised I would book the airplane skywalk and Helicopter through Maverick airlines it was well organized and definitely worth it Go in the am afternoons are too crowded fro skywalk

This was an awesome experience from the time we were picked up by the shuttle on 8/1/18@540am from our hotel to the time we were returned by 1pm. Our First time seeing the Grand Canyon or flying in a small plane. We originally opted for flying to canyon rather than ground transportation based on the travel time factor, and were so glad we did as we we enjoyed the canyon and were back with the afternoon available for our other planned activities. It was awesome seeing the sights from the sky in addition to walking around by canyon. We were also very impressed by how well coordinated everything was by our tour provider Maverick Airlines and by the canyon. Eric our pilot was very nice and informative. Just overall an awesome, worthwhile, splurge and experience.
