Pl. de las Pasiegas, 5 , Pl. de las Pasiegas, 5, 18001 Granada, Spain

Plaza de las Pasiegas. Main Facade of the Cathedral of Granada. Central Arch.

Plaza Nueva , Pl. Nueva, 18010 Granada, Spain
Greet your guide at a central location in the Cathedral quarter and begin your tour with an ambient stroll through Albacin, a charming UNESCO-listed neighborhood hailed as Granada’s historical heart. Admire grand Granada villas with their manicured gardens and elegant facades, and observe the distinct Moorish influence in this quaint quarter.

Marvel at views of the illuminated Alhambra palace on its hilltop perch adjacent to Albacin, then stroll to the intriguing caves of Sacromonte. Originally inhabited by Spanish gypsies, the caves are famed for the perpetuation of feisty flamenco dancing. Appreciate the charm and character of the neighborhood and see the darkened interior of caves home to night flamenco demonstrations.

After your enchanting exploration of the city, stop at one of Granada’s most popular tapas bars beside Plaza Nueva to enjoy a selection of Spanish specialties; feast upon a plate of local tapas and sip fine wine, beer or a soft drink as you absorb the ambient atmosphere of the eatery. Bid your guide and group farewell within the bar but feel free to stay and enjoy more tantalizing tapas.

One of the best tours I've been in Spain. Unbelievable place and an excellent guide. The night lights of Alhambra and the Gypsy homes are something I'll remember forever.

Never thought a walking tour would be this fun. Mar was exceptionally talented in this field and very patient with our neverending question about the historical events. She is the best and I would have happily asked to have her as our main and private tour guide for the AlHambra!

Too long

Tour is quite long for what it is. While I enjoyed the “history” lesson part, I just did not see much during the tour (other than a city street) to warrant all that walking through cobblestoned streets. If I did this again, I would take the bus or cab to the mirador San Nicholas to get the sunset view of Alhambra and walk to dinner then a flamenco show in the area.

Worth every penny! Be prepared to walk, flat shoes required, I did it in flip flops which were fine, but avoid heals at all costs! This provided stunning views of the Alhambra and surrounding area at sunset and our guide was knowledgeable and kept the tour interesting from start to finish.

The Granda evening walking tour is great way to get introduced to Granda and see some beautiful scenery. We really liked our guide Juan. He is very knowledgable and funny. It is quite a bit of walking up and down some hills, which we enjoyed. Granada has a fascinating history and is gorgeous in the evening. The views of the Alhambra at night are breathtaking.

Excellent tour and a great way to get oriented to the beautiful city of Granada!. Beatrice was a gem and made our evening walk through Sacromante and the Albaicin districts all the more special. The tour finishes at a local bar where we were served an excellent TAPAS and a drink. I would highly recommend this tour!!

We shared this tour with 2 others may I recommend that you wear flat shoes with grip as it takes you over very uneven and hilly surfaces. Our guide was amazing and took us firstly up to the top of Granada's Gypsy cave area which provided magnificent views over the valley below and the Alhambra. The tour started at 8pm and as we wound our way through this fascinating area learning about the history of why the gypsies chose to settle here and about their unique cave dwellings, we were able to capture the most magnificant dusk photo's of the Alhambra. We slowly walked through a maze of narrow alley ways which gradually lead us down the steep hills where at times the space just opened up to a little plaza full of locals meeting up for drinks and food or just chatting and various eateries. Our guide provided much local information about the area and Granada and its history as he had grown up here, he spoke excellent English and was happy to take photo's for us. The tour took a couple of hours and finished with us at the base of the the walls of Alhambra and the old part of the town at a local bar for Tapas and a drink. We all thoroughly enjoyed this and all sat and chatted for another hour including our host whom delighted us with stories of Granada. I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to really experience the öld partof Granada and the gypsy area as to do this on your own you would indeed get lost and miss some of the best parts that only a local can show you. Though you do need a degree of fitness we are in our early and mid 60s and feel persons whom are unstable on their feet would not be able to do this tour safely. Our guide was amazing and made the tour very enjoyable and feel this tour is a must do.

Excellent guide, Juan, who took time to help us put into perspective the inhabitants of the city and elaborate upon every question we asked he was very knowledgeable and clearly loves history. We truly enjoyed him and our time.

Out guide, Mar, speaks very good Engish she also has a great sense of humour. She obviously loves what she does and she is very knowledgeable and informative being a native of Granada, she kept us well entertained with first-hand knowledge and insight. We practically had a personal tour. We were able to take our time and enjoyed the walk we had no idea how far we actually walked. Overall, we had a fabulous time. Yes, you do need to be in good shape to do this walking tour - plenty of up and down steep slopes. But it will be the same if you are just walking around Albaicin and Scaromonte on your own. You won't have the same experience though. We highly recommend taking this tour. The tapa and drink at the end are just extras.

This was a wonderful tour by guide Lucy. Despite pouring rain we found this to be an extremely interesting walk. Thankfully we got a bus included to the farthest point at Sacromonte. It was silent apart from the rain as we walked back towards and through the Albacin. Our guide was full of facts and interesting anecdotes. We went down narrow lanes the like of which we would not of found. Great views of the Alhambra. We ended up in a very pleasant Tapas bar for a drink and plate of tapas. Our guide was very helpful with further suggestions for our stay and all were excellent. Recommended Tour.

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour, which took us up in to the hills for some great views in the evening. We learned a lot about the history of Granada, and the Gypsy culture. The tapas with a drink was a nice ending, with some good conversation. Thank you Violeta.

Had a really enjoyable evening, it was great to explore Granada in the evening with our friendly guide. I got to learn a lot more about the culture and nightlife as well as the history behind it. I would definitely have got lost without the tour guide in all the nice places he took us, so would definitely recommend this for a hassle free chilled out evening. Plus the tapas at the end with the vino de verano were very yum!

This tour was not what we expected. I would not recommend it. The details on line and the guide did not explain correctly. There were NO tapaS only one. Also we took public bus to reach half way to destination and there was an immense up hill stair climbing to reach top. Not for faint of heart.

We scheduled this tour without really expecting a whole lot except for beautiful twilight views of Granada and the Alhambra in the distance. What a pleasant surprise! Violeta really knew the Moorish history and culture and how the Spanish, Moorish, and gypsy cultures entwined and combined to create the vibrant, beautiful Granada of today. The Albaicin district was very interesting, especially the cave houses, and the views of Alhambra lit at night were spectacular. Ending the evening with tapas and a glass of wine was just perfect. Well done.

WE would not have seen this neighborhood or found our way out on our own! Colorful tour- worth seeing this part of Granada- a great view of the Alhambra at night. Less than 5 stars only because the guide's accent was a bit thick to understand everything- first time that has happened .
