Get picked up at your hotel in Dubrovnik and then hop inside the air-conditioned vehicle to make the drive south to Montenegro. Drink in the views of the Adriatic Sea and the Dubrovnik Riviera and learn about the history and culture of the area from your local guide. 

After crossing the border to Montenegro, twist and turn with the road, going around the large Bay of Kotor, and passing through charming villages along the way. Then stop in Perast, a lovely town at the base of St Elijah Hill. Consider taking the optional boat ride to Our Lady of the Rocks island to check out the baroque-era church (at own expense).

The next stop is Kotor, situated in a fjord and one of the most eye-pleasing Montenegrin towns. Once there, begin a walking tour that goes throughout the squares and narrow cobbled streets, taking you to historic churches such as the Cathedral of St Tryphon. Then take some free time to do some wandering—consider marching up the 1,350 steep steps to the San Giovanni Castle for an incredible view and photo opportunity—or sit down for a drink or a snack (at own expense).

After Kotor, head to Budva, a gorgeous walled city on the sea boasts attractive beaches and narrow cobbled streets. Take some free time to explore or sit down for a meal (at own expense).

Take a ferry ride across the Bay of Kotor and then enjoy a final scenic drive along the coastal roads of Montenegro to end your day. You are returned to your Dubrovnik hotel.

According to legend, the local seamen made an oath to the icon of Madonna and Child which was found on a rock in the sea. They laid a rock in the Bay upon return from each successful voyage, and over time the small island emerged. Today, you can find the Church of Our Lady of the Rocks on the island. The church contains over 70 works of art, among them the ten-meters long, The Death of the Virgin. The island is accesible by a short boat ride. Alternatively, feel free to explore the town of Perast during your free time here.

Two tours were combined - English and Spanish. It was annoying. Added a lot of complexity. We would rather cancel the tour. The tour guide (Lydia) was great, she did everything above and beyond, but nothing she could do. We should be notified in advance about bilingual tour.

Great trip to Budva, Kotor and Our Lady of the Rocks island. Our guide "Lydia" was very informative and made the trip interesting and fun. the stop in Budva was "ok" only. Not a lot to see or do. Kotor however was superb. Very busy with a cruise ship in dock and can imagine being too much in the high season. The boat trip to Lady of the Rocks was great. The scenery on the trip was excellent. Certainly a trip worth doing.

We love this tour.. highly recommended..I received an email 2 days before telling me what pick up time from my hotel. They were organized and punctual on picking us up , checked our passports and ready to go..our tour guide oct 30 was very patient and knowledgeable ..our driver zack was great.. no lines in the border.. that is the reason why we decided to visit end of October to avoid too much crowd.. the places we visited were great, we had a boat ride going to the lady of the rocks, it was a wonderful experience.. we were ok paying extra for the boat ride (that is why you are on vacation, so your experience is better) our guide was so patient , there were people that came late in our meeting area on our way back to Dubrovnik but still she (our guide) was the one to apologize to the whole group.. Kotor is a very charming city,, budva and pesart too.. I would recommend this tour to everyone ..
