Timings ruined this for us- Could have been much better.

The trip around Butrint was very good. It was very rushed though. Lunch was OK but we had far too much free time in Saranda, that would have been much better spent at the National Park. Oh and look forward to the passport control at the port, a complete shambles. Be ready to be delayed by an hour each way.

A flavour of Albania and a cracking ancient/mediaeval site

Knowledgeable guide gave is a good history of Albania, Saranda during the road trips and Butrint both before and when we were on site. Be warned, it is quite a hike to the top and lots of stairs both up and down and often without guard rails. Lunch was surprisingly good

Poor service and burning boat engine

The Albanian side was good. I have scored this low because of the ground staff on the Corfu side, especially the bus driver at the port who drove off without us. He then came back for us and because he was angry decided to drop us a 20 minute walk from the hotel. My son asked him to stop but he wouldn’t. I am in my 70s and have arthritis. So thank you for ruining our day. The boat the Ionian Sun was also emitting burning plastic fumes and we had to evacuate the lower lounge. Even on the deck we had to cover our faces against the smell. No help or concern shown by crew.

Very interesting trip. Loved Butrint UNESCO site! The guide was great. The only thing that needs improvement is the free time in Sarande...not much to do there. Very educational and well run tour!

Lovely day trip over to Albania, really nice guide, lunch was ok if basic, however organisation of buses coming back needs sorting . We sat waiting for other trips to join us, some where straight of an all day party boat, not enough seats, so someone had to come and sort it.

We booked our trip 2 days in advance with transfer from and back to our hotel and called the company to get information on where exactly to be picked up. The ferry trip to Albania was comfortable. There was a bit of commotion when we arrived at the Albanian port with the police officer not wanting to let passengers access the busses waiting for us but direct us to the port terminal first. Our guide was full of historical and cultural information which he provided in excellent English and very good German. We had a light but delicious lunch that was included and an our free time after visiting Butrint. Upon arrival in Corfu you must go through customs and than find the correct that takes you to your hotel. I highly recommend it.

We were impressed with how organised this tour was. We really enjoyed the picturesque boat trip to Saranda. Butrint national park was very interesting and has amazing views across the lake. Pleased we chose the Butrint option as there wasn't that much to do in Saranda. Everything was very organised and the staff were extremely friendly on this tour.

Die Reise kann ich weiterempfehlen. Wir hatten leider nur am Anfang die Schwierigkeiten mit dem Transfer. Der Veranstalter hat aber dieses Problem gelöst und wir waren mit Taxi abgeholt.
