Half Day Barcelona Tour by Sidecar Motorcycle

This was my favorite tour of Barcelona. I’m glad I booked it for my birthday. It set the mood for a wonderful day! I appreciated how Joao curated the tour for me depending on what I wanted to see. It was guided perfectly with historical facts and lots of shared laughter (: I had a great time and would recommend this tour to anyone visiting the beautiful city. Got to see unforgettable sight sees! Thank you Joao for the additional tips about the city and places to go visit. I wish I can put the experience more into words but anyone reading this review take my advice and book the tour! You’ll leave the experience very grateful and of awe of the city.

Although pricing is for 2 people, even if solo, this was by far the best money I spent. I took this tour on my first day and was so happy I did. Quim was knowledgeable and a great guide. He asked about my interests and could tailor the tour for them. I learned so much about the city from day 1, so I was able to determine where to go when touring it myself. Thanks Quim!!!

This charming motorbike experience is such an exciting and fun way to explore the city of Barcelona! My guide, Quim, did the tour in english and his knowledge and history of the city is quite impressive. He was very attentive and customized my tour according to my interests. I can really recommend this tour with confidence!

Barcelona Sidecar tour is a great way to see the city! Alessandro was knowledgeable about the city & the main sights. It was a 3 hour hour tour driving around the city. Stopped a few times, once was to a stop with great views & some cava wine. One person sits in the sidecar & one on the back of the motorcycle. It was in the mid 50's & it wasn't really that cold. We were 8 people, so 4 cars went out together. Would highly recommend!

When I originally booked this tour, I was excited and intrigued by the novelty of touring a city by motorbike/sidecar. As a long time motorcycle rider, this seemed to a chance to view a city in a unique fashion, but in a mode to which I was familiar. I also wanted my partner to experience the wonders of Barcelona in a memorable fashion. The events that transpired over the course of our half day venue, far exceeded my expectations. And the key to it ALL was our guide, Tarek. The combination of his personality, charm, enthusiasm, local knowledge & sense of history was such that the only possible outcome, was to have the time of lives! He started off by being prompt in picking us up at the hotel, introduced us to the bike and got my partner comfortable with the mechanics of how to operate in the sidecar. We then embarked on a wondrous tour of the city, that gave a terrific overview of Barcelona and provided much needed historical context, along with geographical reference points of the various district/quarters. One unexpected plus to our 1/2day journey was the joy we seemed to give to the numerous on-lookers that waved to us, offering thumbs up and big genuine smiles! Tarek made a comment that this was his first job in which so many people constantly smiled at him. While I will admit that riding on a motorbike and/sidecar is not necessarily for everyone, I would highly encourage you to try it, because it is a "once in a lifetime" event. And if you do sign up, be sure to ask for TAREK. He is the best!

Giorgio was a fun well informed guide. He took us to everything worth seeing in Barcelona; including former site of the ‘92 Olympics & pointed out the former competitive swimming & diving facilities are now available to citizens of Barcelona. I rode behind Giorgio & never felt scared & he did slow down on the 2/3 curves we had. My husband sat in the sidecar. A favorite tour we won’t forget!

Tarek was the best guide we had on our trip! Wow, what a tour, the bike was awesome! We had a great time and learned a lot about the city, it's population and history. Highly recommended.
