I had such a wonderful time on this walking tour! Rena was friendly and enthusiastic, and made me feel so welcomed! I was a solo traveler in a small group with two other people, and Rena introduced our small group to local shops and markets we probably would have never found on our own. We tried amazing foods/snacks from koulouri to loukoumades, pastourma, bougatsa, souvlaki, and more! I booked this tour on my first full day in Athens and found it to be a really helpful introduction to Greek cuisine. I highly recommend it!

Very good. Got to try lots of Greek sweets, snacks, drinks and food I wouldn't have otherwise. Loucia was friendly, informative and considerate. You visit several small shops that you wouldn't find otherwise, as well as the athens food market. Definitely worth it.

We had a great time walking around Athens and sampling many fabulous local foods. The walk is so easy that anyone would be able to complete the tour. Going with such a knowledgeable food guide made it even more amazing. Going to the local meat and seafood market was interesting probably not suited to vegetarians.

My friend and I loved the walking food tour. We ate lots of good food (apologies for spelling) - Kolori, donuts, fruits, meats and cheeses, olives, olive oil, feta and more! Loved that we saw the markets, and small shops we would have never found on our own. Rena explained everything wonderfully and even gave my friend (who lives in Sydney) a tip on the best greek restaurant in Sydney!

We walked through the General Market, vegetable and fruit market then roamed the surrounding neighborhood tasting the wares of street vendors, spice shops, olive oil and cheese shops, sweet and savory pies, dried meats and the best doughnuts ever! Finally we topped it off with a traditional lunch. I know there are a lot of other food tours in Athens. What made this one special and "over the top" was our guide Georgia Kalimeri. She is not only very knowledgeable but presents each stop with passion and flare!
