A lazy, relaxing day at sea

Overall it was very chill, and a great break from trekking around Athens. We met new friends, people watched, eavesdropped, etc. Almost everyone was cool, save a couple of crabs who were on the edge of asking for the manager of the Aegean Sea. Aegina was wonderful. I recommend walking past the touristy shops and restaurants right by the marina, walk toward the center of the island and check out the more authentic spots. Aponisos: The swimming was great but we were only in the water for 10 minutes before they called for lunch. Based on the other reviews we thought the food and drink would run out (and much of it did), so unfortunately we ended up sacrificing precious swim time. The food was OK. Standard buffet fare. The pop was warm and flat, and ice was scarce. No one offered us beer - I guess you had to ask for one. We weren't in the mood to drink, so we didn't really care. (If you are so inclined, I would recommend just bringing your own booze.) We only had about an hour on Agistri, which was fine. We just grabbed a drink and socialized. There isn't enough time to explore unless you grab a taxi. Overall I'd recommend this tour. The price is reasonable and it's mostly as advertised. Just bring sunscreen and a hat and/or parasol. You'll be baking out there.

Basic, essentially a shuttle bus on water

Was sad to be on a sail boat that had no sails… it really is just a boat. Technically only saw 2 islands, since we only docked for 2 stops. really rough seas on the way back - which obviously has nothing to do with the tour. Would have booked a different boat with more interesting Islands had I not been excited to have a SAIL involved.

Day Trip on a Turkish Sailboat but No Sailing?
Sue_M
, Jul 2021
It was a nice day on the Aegean. The only disappointment for me, and it was substantial, was that although we were on a sailboat - there was NO SAILING???? HUH??? A big part of the reason I decided to go with this day trip was because it was on a REAL Turkish sailboat. There was a little bit of wind on the way back which seems like it might have been super for a sail. WHY go for a trip on a sailbaot but never sail? I don't get it! :o(

Beautiful islands

Cruise was very nice - on the way out, very little wind, so prepare to be warm. Deck is painted brown and very hot on your feet. People were allowed to get large portions or second helpings before everyone was served lunch, so my husband, me and 3 other passengers did not have several of the main items as they were gone. Passengers who overserved were jerks, but crew could have made announcement, as well. The crew did kindly offer to purchase lunch for us at the next stop, but we declined as we wanted to walk around. The crew was great about bringing around a snack in the morning and fruit in the afternoon. The swimming stop was beautiful. I heard several people comment that they wanted to get in, but the noodles were gone. Many passengers got multiple noodles. My family didn't need them, so it didn't bother us, but more noodles or one per person would have been good. I do wish we had gotten some information about our destinations or what we were passing by during the sailing. Another thing that would have greatly improved the trip would have been them handing out a map of our 2 docking destinations, or a recommended sightseeing path, how long it takes to get to a certain attraction, how much they cost, and best way to get there. We felt a little lost both times, and wasted some of the 90 minutes both places trying to figure this out. But they were still beautiful. I used my phone until it died to find out stuff about where we were. My kids, both 17, really enjoyed the day, too.

Fun stops but no breaks from the heat
Anna_M
, Jul 2021
Staff was great and the stops were fun, but the time on the boat wasn't great. It was hot because there was very little shade coverage and 10 hours in the sun is challenging. The boat moved slowly so there was no wind to help cool things down and the boat felt crowded. They also ran out of food by the time we went to get lunch because several people had already gotten seconds.

DO IT!!

Wonderful and a great way to see some more islands without the number of people on the ferry. Lunch was delicious, they play music as you sail, beer and wine is complimentary. It was the best part of our trip, hands down!
