Eiffel Tower

5 Avenue Anatole, Paris

The Basics

The Eiffel Tower's first floor features exhibits, kid-friendly experiences, and the 58 Tour Eiffel restaurant; the second deck includes the Jules Verne Restaurant; and the third-floor summit, accessible via a glass lift, features Gustave Eiffel's private apartments and a Champagne bar. Of course, all levels offer striking 360-degree views of the City of Light.

Although a testament to the structure's global popularity, the crowds can be quite large, meaning that priority-access tours are highly recommended—in peak season, long lines mean waits can often exceed three hours. Save precious sightseeing time by booking a skip-the-line Eiffel Tower ticket with or without a tour guide; this experience can combined with a Paris city tour that covers the top sights, such as the Arc de Triomphe, the Notre Dame Cathedral, Moulin Rouge, Montparnasse, and the Louvre museum. If you'd rather view the iconic structure in all its glory than head to the top, book a Seine River cruise, or a walking, biking, or Segway tour.

Very good tour. The Eiffel Tower wasn’t very busy due to COVID protocols and it was very nice! I appreciated the guides knowledge and explanation of the tower’s history and the changing landscape of Paris

Eiffel Tower Tour with Optional Summit and Seine Champagne Cruise
It’s a good packaged deal but if you book the Eiffel Tower in the afternoon (esp in the winter) you’ll need to take the river cruise either before the tour or the following day. We did the 4:15pmin Dec not knowing the last riverboat departed at 5pm... luckily the boat company allowed us to do the night cruise for free since they weren’t sold out. Besides that, great experience being on the river and of course the Eiffel Tower.

Eiffel Tower Skip the Line Ticket by Elevator and Seine River Cruise
The meeting point was easy to find and staff were welcoming and helpful. Sebastian was our tour guide, he was very knowledgeable and added some humour to the guidance which kept us interested and engaged. The river cruise was good value for money and easy to find following the Eiffel Tower trip. Over all a very straightforward, stress free experience which we would recommend:)

Private Eiffel Tower Guided Climb Tour with Summit
My son and I had a fantastic tour with Sheldon! We loved climbing up the stairs of the Eiffel Tower and viewing the whole city! Sheldon knows Paris very well and provided us with the history of the tower, Paris, and all of the incredible buildings surrounding the tower. This was a great way to start our holiday here in Paris! Thank you Sheldon!

Dining Cruising the Seine & Eiffel’s Glittering Tower’s Summit Private Tour
The only slight glitch was that we didn’t receive the update of the program about the switching between the Eiffel Tower and dinner so a bit of commotion at the beginning but other than that everything else was top: the driver picking us up from the hotel and bending backwards to help us, the Eiffel Tower guide and the cruise / the staff on the boat. Especially for a first timer to Paris (and not only) the experience is one that cannot be missed. Highly recommended!

Paris in One Day with Louvre and Eiffel Tower Guided Tour plus Seine Cruise
Absolutely worth the price to do this tour. We had a small problem finding the initial meeting spot, but once we were there everything was amazing! We loved being able to skip the line into the Louvre and being guided to the important works. The Seine cruise was nice and we got a voucher to hop on/off for 24 hours. We loved the Eiffel Tower and being able to go up to the second floor- really nice photo opportunities! I would recommend this tour to anyone who doesn’t have a lot of time in Paris

Eiffel Tower Morning Tour by Elevator Optional Summit & Seine River Cruise
We had the very first tour of the morning. Our guide was very friendly and shared much of the history of the Eiffel Tower prior to and during the tour. We had the option of going to the very top or just to the 2nd and 1st floors. There was a great museum on site and the views of course were spectacular. We very much liked the personal escorting to the Tower and Tour.

Climb to the Eiffel Tower's Second Floor with Experienced Guide
Addie was very personable, completely fluent in English, and very knowledgeable. She answered any questions that my family asked, about the Eiffel Tower or beyond.

Things to Know Before You Go

  • Plan your visit in advance and book skip-the-line tickets to avoid long wait times.

  • If you purchase an admission ticket for Eiffel Tower summit access, you'll head straight to the top before stopping at the lower levels on your downward journey.

  • There are ATMs and souvenir shops on the ground floor.

  • The tower's first two levels are wheelchair accessible, but the summit is not.

  • You'll be required to undergo a security screening before entering the tower.
