The Basics

The events of September 11th, 2001, shook not just New York City but the whole world, and served as a historic turning point that changed the entire course of the early 21st century. The 9/11 Tribute Museum is a must-do for anyone who wants to hear vivid, eye-witness accounts of the events of that pivotal day. Visitors can tour the museum independently and take a walking tour around the 9/11 Memorial Plaza, led by a guide with a direct connection to the events. For an even more comprehensive experience, combine a visit to the Tribute Museum with a trip to the separate and larger-scale National September 11 Memorial & Museum, which offers a broader overview of the tragic day.

Amazing
Very fun! Make sure to check out the museum. They have 9/11 survivors who speak to you about the tragedy. Very touching.

9/11 Tribute Museum + 9/11 Memorial Audio Tour
Definitely happy we chose this museum over the big one. This one is run by survivors and families of those that didn’t survive. There was a gentleman that worked here that told his survival story and the loss of his sister. Very moving. The only negative is the AC was out on a day with 90 degree weather. They had fans which helped but it was hot. Please support them.

9/11 Tribute Museum & Memorial Walking Tour
A must-do! So very informative and respectful of all that the 911 site represents. Kimberly, our guide, shared an immense amount of information in our time together. She spoke slowly and clearly, sharing personal stories that will have a lasting impact on all of us. We will definitely recommend this tour to all of our friends and family visiting NYC.

The tour was a true look at the carnage that took place on 9/11/01. Having seen the disaster unfold on tv only it was a very awaking lesson. To hear the story from an actual person that was there made me understand the true suffering NY endured.

One World Observatory plus 9/11 Tribute Museum Guided Tour Combo
The most impressive part of the The World Trade Center tour was upon exiting the elevator. They run a video on a wall depicting various changes of NYC over the years. At the end of the video, they raise the wall revealing the spectacular city view!

9/11 site tour and Observatory

One World Observatory plus 9/11 Tribute Museum Guided Tour Combo
Was disappointed that the museum at the World Trade Center site was not included in ticket price. This is misleading in your explanation of the tour package. The Guide for our trip was excellence, very informative and knowledgeable. Was also dismayed at how commercial the trio became once in the Observatory, in contrast to the rest of the site which is so tastefully done with so much significance imbedded with all the memorials
