Roshnik is a well-known village in the area of Berat and often it is called as the cleanest and one of the most civilized villages. We will travel for around 25 minutes to enjoy the greenness and the pleasure that the regularity of vineyards transmits. We will have a walk through the vineyards and the fields, and then visit the mosque of the village, which is relatively new and is characterized by an interesting architecture. A famous family of the village is Fiska, a family who now runs an agritourism and produces its own wine and raki (traditional Albanian alcoholic drink). We will have a break in the premises of the winery to get introduced to the process of wine making and taste different types of alcoholic beverages. Roshnik is also famous for its dried fig production, so we will be able to accompany wine tasting with some nice dried figs, types of cheeses etc, depending on the season of the visit.

The waterfall of Bogova is located around 40 kilometers from Berat and to reach the final destination we will need to pass through the forest for a 40 min hike. On the way we will breathe the fresh air, enjoy the greenness and quietness of the area, and visit places like the fish pool. This waterfall is now part of a natural protected area, and it gives you a wild life feeling. The water coming down from the rocks has created a natural small pool about 8 meters deep what gives the possibility to have a fresh swim. On the way to/back from the waterfall, we can have a break in the premises of the winery, to taste several types of wines that they produce, accompanied by some seasonal finger food. Apart from tasting, we will have a walk around the wine cellar, until we reach the environment dedicated for the winetasting process. Nurellari is one of the most famous wineries in Albania and it is now turning toward cultivating autochthonous Albanian grape like Pules, Serina, Debina etc.

Dollani house is a traditional one in the neighborhood Kala, declared a cultural monument in 1965 for the architectural and decorative values that it carries. In this house, tourism has been present since communism, of course surveyed, where visitors tasted liqueurs, glikos, coffee and raki- an Albanian type of brandy. The visit to the house lasts around 45-60 minutes. Visitors firstly have a seat in the main room, where one of the owners explains the history of the building and how life was organized back those days. Afterwards, we go on a short tour around the house, to then reach the tasting environment, for some delicious local homemade products We start with a glass of raki, to follow with the famous gliko, depending on the period of the visit (cherry, watermelon, plum, orange etj). Afterwards we will taste ‘suxhuk’, a kind of oriental dessert, still very traditional in Berat from the ottoman era. The tasting service will conclude in a coffee making and drinking process.
